London - Isleworth

We moved into our new home Abbey Mews in Isleworth at the end of April 2006. It’s great having a little paved garden for entertaining and the kitties are in their element not being locked up inside all day.

We live bordering Syon Park, home to fly fisherman and cows

How convenient having a traditional pub on the corner

We'll be spending lots of time here

Our terraced house

Welcome!

We are directly underneath the flight path to Heathrow

The day we moved in

The kitties chip in to help

But are a little nervous of their new home

Looking for safe places to hide

We settled for Chinese take-away at the end of a long day of unpacking

The following day Mithril has his first taste of the great outdoors

BK completely enthralled...

...by a brown squirrel

BK and Mithril watching the resident squirrel eating seeds

Every day these ducks visit us for water and food

Feeling more at home now

last we are able to use Lynnie & Engela's present t

Yummy chops!

The plants have arrived for our new garden so we need to start digging

Johann measuring for the trellis

The shale must be removed

And put into packets

Falling leaves are put to good use

The first lot of compost goes in

I guess this is one way of growing faster

Johann digging in the compost

Autumn is here so we mustn't delay with the planting

Putting up a "cat proof" wire trellis

We were disappointed that this lizard was the only living thing we found in the soil

Pansies for autumn colour

The end of a weekend of gardening

Mithril approves of his new playground

Mithril has found a way of getting onto the roof and no amount of persuasion or treats will get him to come down

The passion flower blooms in Autumn

The shape of the flower is compared to the ring of thorns Christ wore on his head

It snowed in January 2007!

Mithril didn't like this new experience very much

A bit chilly to exercise

Not sure I like mommy's idea of garden decorations

Beer can chicken dinner for friends

Mithril's breeder came for tea and Mithril was sure she had brought along some treats for him
