Cape Town's beautiful sunsets

A mexican dinner for Lynnie and Engela

First the salt

Then the tequila (urgh)

And finally the lemon

Angela couldn't wait to see Lynnie's transformed garden

Lynnie is very proud of her garden and so she should be, it's stunning!

The laundry cabin

Erbs

View from the deck

Noogy-Noos and Charlie Chops

Then it was off to Knysna having cleaned out GAP KIDS for our nieces

The shoes are perfect for school

Tracey's kitty Yummy loves this spot in the sun

If we wait here long enough we're sure to get a morsel

We woke up one morning to the beginning of a devastating flood

The drain at the bottom of the garden

The Heads are not even visible

This used to be the golf course

Driving along George Rex Drive

Parts were blocked to traffic due to the road collapsing

The manholes were pushed up by stormwater

The sports field resembled a lake

Someone lost their sofa cushion

Dirty water pouring into the lagoon

Dad's car about to be washed

Trees were uprooted

Walls collapsed

Gates were blown off their hinges

Our neighbour was housebound when this tree fell across their driveway

And then it cleared and Knysna could assess the damage

On the way back from George (shopping no doubt) we stopped at Wilderness Station to admire the aloes

Dad

Dad bought himself a boat to spend long leisurely family days on the lagoon

Dad enjoying his 'Tranquility'

It has its own parking spot in the lagoon

Tracey doing some creative work the night before Candice's birthday

The icing is the best part

Candice turns 3 with a butterfly cake

Present from cousin Benjamin

Present from Johann and Angela

I think Mum is enjoying this more
